The latest CD to slip into the player, if you wanna know more read my scrawls...
To appreciate this CD you will need the following items; a time machine and a large cooking pot with industrial sized wooden spoon!
Hop in yer time machine and go kidnap the Rolling Stones and The Who when they we're at their peak, throw the lil' bugga's into yer cookin' pot, heat and stir until the sound of Jet fills your ears, it's that simple!
Now you got a GREAT RNR band, raw, gritty, rough cut, with gravely vocals all laced with some faultless crunchin' guitar work, with the good ol' ballad also included just to give you a lil' breathing space!
Slap this disc in put on the tightest fitting T you can muster and slip into them old faded Levi's and prepare to rock like it was 1976!!!!! Great RNR CD, go Buy!
That is all - Thankyou.

Thank-you for all your opinions, thoughts, views, rants and raves on this subject.
As ever, I am overwhelmed and I am finding it difficult to contain my appreciation.

sikkly, great review, very intertaining.
personally, i think this cd fuckin blows. if i wanted to hear rolling stones at their peak i would throw on exile on main street or let it bleed. just another cd from a 'we are old school cooler then thou' band. originality and personality have really taken a back seat in the music business recently. the sad thing is the bands in this genre that are actually doing something fresh are overlooked by the majors because it is easier to sell something that is safe, friendly, rehashed retro to the masses.
